Photos Mihai VASILE, “Four Paws” photo archive, ZNSPCA photo archive, Karen TRENDLER personal archive. Mihai VASILE photos have been taken during a “Four Paws” Animal Welfare Foundation action to free nine elephants taken in captivity, in August - September 2009.
Two month after this slideshow was created the nine elephants have been released back to nature in the Hwange Natural Park in Zimbabwe, about 150 km away from Victoria Falls where Mary’s son was born wild and free.
